Wrestow Stud - Wild Romance

Wild Romance was also imported from Holland, where she was Champion of her regional Keuring and achieved her Ster status. We bred a foal from her in 2007, Cecilia, an extravagant moving youngster by Discovery, and another foal the following year by Westpoint who was sold at the Brightwell's Auction. Wild Romance then recommenced her career under saddle, and is now for sale through no fault of her own. She is showing good paces for dressage and a large, scopey jump with a careful outlook over a fence. Ideal competition or broodmare prospect.

Flemmingh sires beautiful, big, long-lined horses with three perfect gaits. This is proven by the great number of Ster and Keur mares, champion foals and dressage performance horses. Flemmingh mares prove themselves in breeding.Flemmingh is the sire of many selection champions. Also this year his offspring were in front at several shows: Washington was Provincial Champion, Barclay was Provincial foal Champion and became 6th in the National foal Championship, Sarina was Provincial Champion, Bailyes was Provincial foal Champion, Bantana V was Provincial foal Champion and 5th in the National foal Championship and Winola was Provincial Champion. Also at international shows offspring of Flemmingh are appreciated: In Denmark one of his sons was approved and Wladimir OA became Swedish Champion of the 3 year old horses.

The approved stallions; Krack C, Santino and Lingh are some of the most famous Flemmingh sons. This year his son Westenwind was approved by the KWPN Studbook. His offspring are performing very well at the National and International dressage shows. His son Lingh, ridden by Edward Gal, won several Grand Prix and was Reserve Champion at the World Cup Final in Las Vegas, where he was the crowd favourite. He won and was placed in several other Grand Prix and World Cup qualifiers. He was also a member of the Dutch team at the European Championship. Flemmingh’s approved son Krack C has also won several Grand Prix and was the best KWPN dressage horse during the World Championship in Jerez 2002. Krack C won the Grand Prix Special in ’s Hertogenbosch and became the Dutch Dressage Champion of 2006.

Nimmerdor, her damsire is by the illustrious 'keur' stallion Farn, whose influence on Dutch breeding in general is deeply felt, which together with his contribution to the sport, is demonstrated by his high place in the stallion jumping index. Nimmerdor's dam is 'ster’ Ramonaa. She is a daughter of the thoroughbred Koridon xx and her dam is Friedhilde II who was sired by the reputable Senator, while her lineage also includes Ulfried.

During his performance test in 1975 Nimmerdor left no doubt as to his particular specialty; jumping. Preferent Nimmerdor was ridden at international level by Albert Voorn with whom he jumped in various world cups and made an impressive appearance at several important international competitions in for example Berlin, Paris, Gothenburg, Dortmund and London. Nimmerdor was invited to go to the Los Angeles Olympics but his owners declined as they considered it more important at the time that he devoted himself to his breeding activities. Nimmerdor is holding second place in the Dutch jumping index and breeds with a very high degree of heredity reliability [94%]. He is rated very highly in the WBFSH ranking. His progeny have excellent breeding results.
