Wrestow Stud - Dashing Doris

Doris was brought from Ireland as a 4 year old. She hunted for 8 seasons with the Warwickshire and Bicester hunts, and was extremely brave across country, never refusing a fence in her career. She also competed at the Tetrathlon Championships, evented and team chased all with success. Doris has good competition bloodlines, being by the same sire as Pippa Funnell's Supreme Rock.

Edmund Burke was an American bred Thoroughbred stallion who raced in the USA before being exported to Ireland where he stood as a successful Sporthorse sire. Supreme Rock is probably the most famous of his offspring, but his progeny have amassed over 1,000 Eventing points and many more SJAI points in their careers.

King Elvis was a RID son of the great stallion Pride of Shaunlara. King Elvis has produced many show and competition horses, including Annaghdown Star, who won the Stallion Class in Dublin in 1991, 1993, 1994, standing Reserve in 1992. His dam, Toames Beauty was the mother of another graded RID stallion, proving the worth of the damline.
